A combined Kenya-Tanzania where you will discover some of the most beautiful and interesting places of these two countries, as a way to meet the tribes inhabiting both sides as well as discovering wild places like Lake Victoria and more mythical places such as the Ngorongoro Crater and the Mt Kilimanjaro.
Day 1: International flight – Kenya
Day 2: Kenya
Arrival at the airport, customs and immigration formalities, welcome by your guide and transfer by car to the hotel.
In the evening we will have the briefing and introduction to your BMW G 650 GS, and at night the welcome dinner were we will have a chat and explanations of the trip.
Accommodation will be at Panafric Hotel on half board basis.
Day 3: Nairobi – Nyeri – Aberdares.
This first day the route will be easy and not to long. It will hopefully help give us a good first experience with the BMW G 650 GS and help us get used to driving on the left side of the road. The way is sinuous and varies in intensity. Our journey will go through coffee fields & pineapple plantations ending on the skirts of the Aberdares Mountain Range. The chosen hotel is the Aberdares Country Club, a former English club with its characteristic colonial taste and cultural heritage. We will arrive around lunch time, in the evening we will ride the motorbikes around the private reserve of the Solio Ranch, on a designated track.

Route: 200km. of tarmac road.
Day 4: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru – Lake Baringo.
After a good breakfast we will continue our journey en route to Nakuru. Our day is going to be full of emotions. We will go through the grand and Scenic Rift Valley inhabited by the Nilotic & Bantu communities. We will drive close to the Nakuru National Park which holds one on the most incredible population of Pink flamingos in Kenya.
As we continue on we will begin entering a much drier and hotter terrain up until we reach our destination of the day, Lake Baringo. This is a huge sweet water lake were we can spot crocodiles and hippos as well as a spectacular variety of birds. The chosen hotel is situated on an island in the center of the lake called Ol Kokwe. Tarmac roads in good condition.

Route: 260 kilometers of tarmac road.
Day 5: Lake Baringo – Eldoret – Kisumu
In the early morning there is an optional trip by boat through the lake to watch for hippos, crocodiles, and the huge variety of birds that inhabit this lake. After the boat-trip there will be breakfast and then we get back to riding our bikes.
This day’s route is one of the most beautiful on the journey and in a matter of a few kilometers the landscape completely changes. We will start crossing the dry and hot area of the Pokot People. Afterwards we will take a small road full of fantastic turns which will take us to the higher elevated lands towards Eldoret. Here we will have an enjoyable view of the dense coniferous forests and green meadows before finally reaching Kisumu City, one of the most important cities of Lake Victoria.

Day 6: Kisumu – Masai Mara.
This is going to be a very entertaining day, the entire day we will be riding through small roads that are ideal for our BMW 650 bikes. We will go through the area of Kericho, famous for the tea plantations. Our journey leads us on to a place of interest on our trip, the Famed Masai Mara National Reserve. Hundreds of kilometers of Savannah populated by many thousands of animals. A truly unique opportunity to enjoy wild nature, riding our bikes. Here we can find herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, gazelles and even a pride of lions.

Route: 280 kilometres of tarmac roads and 80 kilometres of road.
Day 7: Masai Mara.
Rest day for the bikes…! We will go on two safari drives in the morning and afternoon by vehicle 4×4 to enhance our understanding of the Masai Mara National Reserve. We will have the possibility to get up close and take pictures of the animals. Lions, elephants, buffalo, etc…
Possibility of flying in a hot air balloon over the Mara is also an option.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Isibania (Tz) – Speke Bay Gulf (Lake Victoria)
After the rest day we will get the bikes on our way to Tanzania’s boundary. A great day awaits us as we will go along the border through small roads until we reach the border crossing point to Tanzania.
We will go around a great part of the Serengeti National Park until we reach Speke Bay which names come to the great explorer “John Hanning Speke” who discovered that Lake Victoria was the source of the Nile.

Day 9: Speke Bay Gulf (Lake Victoria) – Mwanza.
In the morning we have the possibility of going round the lake shore and if there is a fisherman in the group, there’s the opportunity of fishing some Nile Perch, an invasive specie that can reach 50kg weight. We can also watch the formation of granite (solid rock cores) like the famous Bismark Rock”.
We will also visit the local market to get to know the customs and lifestyle of this fishing tribe. After lunch we will head to Mwanza where we will stay for the night.

Route: 150 kilometres of tarmacked road.
Day 10: Mwanza – Singida.
This will be by no doubt the longest route on the whole trip. The good part is that the road has been recently tarmacked.
The way has a lot of various views and terrain. At the beginning we will find fine straight roads as we cross the small mountain (formations) where we will find good, fun turns and constant up and down hills.
On the outskirts of Singida we will once again see impressive rock (formations).

Route: 450 kilometers of tarmac roads
Day 11: Singida – Karatu
This will be a very entertaining way because the landscape will be changing constantly. The small mountains will be predominant as we pass by the Tarangire National Park, to find the huge rice plantations that end up going up to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Route: 300 kilometers of tarmac roads.
Day 12: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater.
We will park our bikes for today and go in our 4X4 vehicles. Starting the day going down the Ngorongoro Crater. Deeply well know to this unique and peculiar National Park.
The Ngorongoro crater is one of the biggest volcanic craters of the world. It was created when a huge volcano erupted in an explosion and collapsed around two or three million years ago. The “caldera” is a huge bowl with walls more than 600 meters in height covered in forest. The ground is a flat and “fertile” Savannah extending to about 260km2 inside the crater.
In this incredible place thousand of animals inhabit the crater. We will have time to view them. Elephants, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffalo, Lions, Hyena and also the Black Rhino. Bird watching is also a spectacular undertaking.
We will stop nearby the lagoons of the crater, to relax and were we will spot hippos while we have a picnic lunch.

Day 13: Karatu – Arusha – Momela.
To end this passionate Motor Safari we have decided to finish with Arusha National Park. The tented camp is strategically placed in the North area of the park to offer us spectacular views of Mt. Meru – 4.566 Meters and Kilimanjaro 5.885 Meters.
Accommodation: Hatari Lodge in full board basis.
